Hi Everybody:
I'm so excited by the release party chat on Monday at dragonflairestudios, that I got all my Xmas items out, ready to put up...

My favorite tradition is my DD and I put all the Nutcrakers up and arrange them on the hallway table.

This year we decided to put up miniature trees instead of a large one.
She has elected to put one in the kitchen not sure how that's gone work..

Bathroom, living room and 2 trees in her room Smiley

Do you put your tree up b4 or after thanksgiving?

I put mine up b4 thanksgiving so the family has a chance to see it and also take pics..

Wow! That is amazing you have it all up already. We used to think it was weird putting it up right after Thanksgiving. LOL

We usually do it around the 2nd week of Dec.. Don't know about this year though. I go between not putting up anything. the kids are all grown! :- ,then again I want it up now! At the end of the season I bought a 300$ tree for 10$ and had my husband put it up after Christmas to make sure it work. (lights all ready on it) So I guess I better put it up!

I have all my decore boxes out now. I use to wait but Christmas is my favorite holiday.  Last year I spent 10 days in Japan at the start of December and so I didn't get to enjoy the decorations as much.  I use to wait until after the Turkey's been downed on T-day before starting but this year we're doing T-day on Friday so the kids have asked me to start now and I'm quite willing to do it!

We always leave our tree up, decorated, until December 30th (my birthday) because when I was a little girlie my sister was born on December 20th and I didn't think it was fair that she had a tree for her birthday but I didn't have one for mine. LOL. So from the age of 8 on we've always left it up and I've carried that tradition on with my own family.  Then we take the decorations off (leave the lights though) and it stays up until January 6th... the end of the 12 days of Christmas and Wise Mans day.  Jan 7th it all gets put away.
